Abby Road’s Simon Gibson to master new album
As the new album nears completion, Black Water Mountain has chosen Simon Gibson and Abbey Road Studios to master the final product. Alex is a world-renown mastering engineer, who has mastered albums and singles for The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Take That, Depeche Mode, Robbie Williams, and Wings.
We can’t wait for you to hear the finished album!
Kelly Dean, blow your horn!
Kelly Dean brought his sax, and his style to Wire Roads the other day, adding some mind-blowing sax lines to several songs. We are giving you just a tiny taste on our news page, but you’ll have to wait for the release to hear how this man can howl! Even veteran engineer and producer, Andy Bradley was impressed, so that’s saying something!
BWM gets some Motown
Krystle McConico and Erica King came by Wire Road Studios and added some serious Motown mojo to several tracks, laying down some awesome backing vocals to Wish You Were Here, Fly, Fly Away and Can’t Get Hold of You. We were so happy we’re invited them back for some other tracks real soon 🙂
New Album – Status update
As the summer comes to a close, the new album is still heating up. With guest appearances by a number of fantastic artists, the music is really taking on a life of its own. We couldn’t be prouder of what we are creating, and can’t wait for your hear it.
We’ve had a lot going on this summer, with being tasked to write a title song for a new video game from MyMonkeyFinger, called My Morphin’ Life for Jason David frank, of Power Ranger fame. The song is finished, and the game is due out this fall. It was a blast creating something so different from what we are working on for the new album.
Expect new singles out soon, with the album to be released for Christmas.
